Before studying to become a dentist, Camilla attended Arnold School and went on to graduate from Northumbria University with a first class honours degree in Biomedical Sciences. Camilla then went to UCLan where she trained in Blackpool and qualified in 2018. Having grown up on the Fylde Coast, it has always been Camilla’s ambition to practice as a dentist in the local area.
Since qualifying she has been enjoying all aspects of general dentistry and has loved getting to know her patients. Camilla particularly enjoys working with nervous patients, helping them to feel confident about coming to the dentist. She has undertaken sedation training, and is nearing the end of her supervised cases. Intravenous sedation is not just for patients who suffer dental anxiety or phobia, it can also help patients with severe gag reflexes, or those who have mild conditions, or mild intellectual or physical disabilities.
She is also very passionate about supporting all her patients to achieve and maintain excellent dental health. Camilla is also keen to develop her cosmetic dentistry repertoire and provide people with smiles they are proud to show off!
When not working and thinking of all things dentistry, Camilla is a mum to Teddy and wife and when time allows is a keen golfer and enjoys keeping fit and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
