Serra Allen-Mukhtar BDS

Before starting her career in Dentistry, Serra grew up in Bromley, Kent and graduated from the University of Kent with a Biomedical Science Degree. Serra then went on to study Dentistry at UCLan Dental School, completing her training in Carlisle in 2022.

Serra worked in a dental practice in Wigton, North Cumbria before moving and settling in the North West with her husband. Here, she trained and worked in the Oral and Maxillofacial Department across Morecambe Bay Hospitals, building on her experience and skills in surgical extractions, dentoalveolar surgery, managing trauma and skin surgery. She has completed her SAAD sedation training and is an accredited sedationist.

Serra is a dedicated, enthusiastic dentist with experience across NHS and private practice, hospital and emergency dental settings. She is skilled in delivering general dentistry with a particular passion for managing anxious patients, oral surgery and IV sedation. Serra is committed to providing excellent patient care and continuously developing her professional and clinical skills.

Outside of Dentistry, Serra enjoys being outdoors with her husband and her cocker spaniel, Otis, hiking, camping and swimming. She loves spending time with her friends and family.
