Miss Ektaa ‘Icky’ Abrol will be leaving the practice at the end of March. We are pleased to announce Icky is getting married and will be starting her new life in London.
Mr Matthew Kilcoyne will join the practice in April and take care of Icky’s patients. You can read more about Matthew on our ‘About us’ section of the website.

We said goodbye to Ruth Balhatchet at Christmas. Ruth is moving onto pastures new, working less hours to take her studies further and have more time with her family. An opportunity has arisen to play a vital role within an established dental practice with an excellent local reputation. Main responsibilities will include decontamination/sterilisation of instruments and equipment. Candidates should be competent in written and spoken English and have a good standard of numeracy. Evidence of relevant qualifications/grades will be required at interview. You will be expected to work to high standards whilst managing a busy workload and communicate well within a team. The successful candidate will be expected to work on their feet all day and good manual dexterity skills will be required. Experience is not essential but a ‘can do’ positive attitude and an excellent work ethic is and the ability to create a fantastic first impression is paramount. All training will be provided and if desired Level 3 Certificate in Decontaminating Medical Devices can be gained.

An opportunity has arisen to play a vital role within an established dental practice with an excellent local reputation. You will receive referrals from our team of seven dentists and treat patients under Direct Access. You will be expected to perform your full scope of practice. The ideal candidate would possess the following attributes:
Experience working under Patient Group Directions for local anaesthetic and fluoride application.
Qualified in Prescribing radiographs.
Experience in taking, processing and interpreting various film views used in general dental practice.
Up to date training and experience in treating periodontal disease.
Tooth whitening training and experience.
Experience in treating dental emergencies.
Experience working with NHS and Private patients.
You will be expected to work to high standards whilst managing a busy workload, our DHT appointment books run at 90% occupancy. First-rate communication with patients and our team is essential. A ‘can do’ positive attitude and a superb work ethic is vital and the ability to create a fantastic first impression is paramount.
Wage: negotiable upon experience
Hours: 11.75 Hours per week, job share considered
Monday 6.00pm – 7.30pm
Tuesday 8.30am – 5.30pm (1-hour lunch break)
Wednesday 6.00pm – 7.30pm
Thursday alternate weeks 6.00pm – 7.30pm
