Peter graduated from Peninsula Dental School in 2013, after completing a BSc in Biomedical Science at the University of Sheffield. Since qualifying Peter has worked in both general and hospital practice.
To complement the skills gained at Torbay Hospital he successfully passed the examinations required to become a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow in 2015.
Peter enjoys all aspects of his job, but he has particular interests in implant dentistry and orthodontics. Regularly undertaking further professional development, he is currently enrolled on a restorative implantology post graduate diploma in Manchester. He feels these two treatment options complement each other well as they can provide long term, predictable and aesthetic options for missing teeth without the need for more damaging treatments such as veneers, crowns or bridges.
Outside of work he likes to keep active in and around the great countryside and coastline we have here in Lancashire. Being a member of CrossFit Blackpool certainly helps him in trying to keep fit. However, he can still be all too easily persuaded to relax and put his feet up at home with his wife and Penny the pug.
