Matthew Kilcoyne BDS MJDF RCP
I graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Birmingham in 2012, and upon completion of my degree I moved back to my hometown of Blackpool. Following qualification, I have spent five years working at a local family run practice, where I have had the pleasure of helping patients improve their smiles and confidence.
I have been fortunate to receive recognition from the British Endodontic Society for my work in Endodontics, gaining the Tom Pitt Ford Prize in 2012. I was also accredited with awards in Paediatric and Restorative Dentistry from the University of Birmingham. In 2014, I gained a Diploma of Membership from the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
I am a Certified Invisalign Provider for the North West of England and provide a full range of treatment options to my patients. I have enjoyed fantastic results with this simple and discreet alternative to braces and love seeing the confidence that this non-invasive treatment can bring.
Recently, I completed training in facial aesthetics and provide a range of Botox and Dermal fillers to patients.
My favourite part of my job is the daily interaction I have with patients and getting to know people on a personal level. I like to help people feel relaxed and at ease during their dental treatment and understand how daunting visiting the dentist can be.
I am a keen supporter of Bolton Wanderers Football Club and despite the glory days being well and truly over, I enjoy going down to watch the odd game at the Macron. I keep fit and active outside of work by attending the gym regularly and hope to complete my first half marathon later on in the year for an oral cancer charity. I got married in August 2017 and most recently moved house to Poulton Le Fylde. It has been an exciting few months completed by joining the wonderful team at Ivory Dental Care.
