Vacancy – Dental Nurse

A rare opportunity has arisen to play a vital role within an established dental practice with a first class local reputation. The successful candidate will join a high performing team that continually strive for excellence. You will be responsible for all aspects of dental nursing and responsible for the smooth running of a surgery. Candidates must be competent in written and spoken English and have a good standard of numeracy. Applications from un-qualified dental nurses will be considered that are currently enrolled on a training programme and have significant experience which enables them to work unsupervised in surgery. Desirable candidates will have experience of Kodak R4, Denplan and NHS schemes. Evidence of relevant qualifications/grades will be required at interview. You will be expected to work to high standards whilst managing a busy workload and communicate well within a team. This role will involve working over two sites, decontamination duties and possibly reception work with training. A can do positive attitude and an excellent work ethic are essential for this role.

 

Wage: £1098 – £1510 per month dependent upon experience

 

Hours: 39 Hours per week

Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5.45pm with 1 hour for lunch

Friday 8.30am – 2.30pm with 20 min lunch break

 

Location: 28a Whitegate Drive, Blackpool FY3 9AL & 359 Park Road, Blackpool FY1 6QT

 

Duration: Permanent following 6 month probationary period

Vacancy – Dental Decontamination Operator

An opportunity has arisen to play a vital role within an established dental practice with an excellent local reputation. You will be responsible for sterilising all instruments and liaising with the surgeries to ensure a constant supply of instruments and stock is available. Candidates must be competent in written and spoken English and have a good standard of numeracy. Desirable candidates may have experience in other healthcare environments. Evidence of relevant qualifications/grades will be required at interview. You will be expected to work to high standards whilst managing a busy workload and communicate well within a team. This is an active role where the candidate will be on their feet all day and walking between multiple surgeries to deliver and pick up instruments, up and down stairs. A can do positive attitude and an excellent work ethic are essential for this role. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Wage: minimum wage

Hours: 39 Hours per week
